The COVID-19 pandemic has reshaped how we think about healthcare, which is why our office has taken extra precautionary measures to ensure that our families are safe during each visit. To provide the safest environment we have implemented air purifiers, sneeze guards, electronic check-in processes, low aerosol protocols and much more into our office. Dental Health Education
We are passionate about going above and beyond in order to teach kids engaging ways on how to maintain a healthy smile! Incorporating dental education into our visits helps to improve a child’s oral health after they leave the office. Open-Door Policy
We believe that parents play a vital role in their child’s appointment. We encourage parents to be with their child throughout the entire dental appointment. This provides comfort and ease to both child and parent! We value our parents and want them to be involved.
Our team consists of pediatric specialists, general dentists and highly trained staff, who focus on providing your child with a dental visit that goes way beyond the basics to make sure their appointment is safe, relaxed, informative, and fun. We consider parents and guardians to be a part of our team and we welcome them to be with their child throughout the entire dental appointment.
We specialize in working with children who have behavioral challenges or special needs. We value our patients and believe in providing a knowledgeable and safe atmosphere that caters to each unique smile. Please specify your child’s needs when making an appointment so that we can provide the proper provider and treatment plan. We accept and file dental insurance plans and are in-network with some dental insurance companies. If you do not see your dental plan listed below as an in-network provider, please do not hesitate to call. Excellent visit per usual. The staff made my daughter feel comfortable and happy. Special note for special needs parents. My daughter has autism and she has been treated by Dr. Jiamachello and his staff for years. She loves to come to the dentist and is never nervous or anxious. I am delighted to say that this same tradition of compassionate care has continued with the transition to Shelby Pediatric Dentistry. Staff was very nice. Not fond of the open concept of the exam/cleaning room, but my daughter didn’t mind. The area for procedures are more private. Overall it was nice. Parents can go back with their child. Dr Zimmer and the hygienist (s) were super nice and knowledgeable. (Be careful of the huge bump when you pull in the parking lot) 🙂

Wonderful, engaging, warm and friendly staff. My daughter was having a small issue and was afraid but they all helped set her at ease quickly. We are new to the this dental clinic but definitely glad I decided to make the change! Seen in a timely manner and was not left waiting forever.
